12/26/13 the room was nice, And especially fire the price. There's room to park me truck out back and got a real good night's sleep. Isn't that what Super 8 is for? They don't advertise as a resort but a motel.
We stopped off here for 1 night heading west, room was more than good enough value for the price, clean in good working order. The owner and staff were all very nice and gave us reccomendations which we took up . I'd definately stay here again.
Nice clean rooms The rooms are newly renovated. I like the new room designs. And the flatscreen tvs are nice. And the breakfast is healthy.
Location is good aw waffle house with in walking distance.
I stayed for 7 good, nice, clean, quiet relaxing nights and days, while my Big Rig was in the Dealer's Mechanic Shop (got in late Friday morning, but the dealer closes at 5pm and on wweekends Sat & Sunday, so that's why the long stay)...and they couldnt start work on truck til Tuesday! Lol! Any hoot, the Super 8 Management (Ms Dee) and Staff were all very cordial and immediately helpful. Nice clean little pool. Good breakfast with many items. Nicely appointed rooms w/ large flat screen TV's. Plenty of parking for 18 Wheelers... Easy In & Out to I-10...Good Chinese food delivery service- Golden Wok...A Waffle House in a five minute walk...
My husband and I just spent 2 very nice and quiet nights here with our 2 dogs. The staff was superb and the coffee was always hot. For the location, the privacy you get is amazing. They also have parking for big rigs. I look forward to returning to this location in the future, should I find myself in the area again!
I come to Lafayette monthly to visit my mom who is in a nursing home. They are dog friendly which is high on my priority list since I have a small dog that is always with me. I was pleasantly surprised at the awesome improvements in every aspect of the property! The whole aura has brightened up! The front desk employees were polite and helpful. Masks are mandatory for staff and guests everywhere in the hotel outside of rooms. My room was clean and smelled nice. The bedding colors have changed and the carpet was new in the building and my room! There weren't any of the shady people or traffic I've read of in past reviews.my housekeeper was pleasant and helpful! My dog liked her too. I will continue to stay here every time I come to Lafayette and would recommend that others give it a second look. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!!
Loved it. I booked a room and explained i was coming to suprise my hubby. Staff was awesome. Very helpful. Allowed me to have pkgs delivered the day before i arrived. Our room was adorable. Looks just like pics online. I love it. Now whenever hubby works in that area this is my go to Hotel.
